What is InByTheEye?
InByTheEye, as a phrase, comes from a Vladimir Nabokov quote:
"If a book could be read in the same way as a painting is taken in by the
eye, that is, without the bother of working from left to right, and without
the absurdity of beginnings and ends, this would be the ideal way of
appreciating a novel, for thus the author saw it at the moment of
conception."

I've humbly chosen these words about inspiration
to be the name of my website where I'd like to share all of my
inspirations and creativity with you.  I make films mostly, but I also
write short stories and books.  All of my work is heavily influenced
by fairy tales and mythology.  I believe there is much to learn and
hold from ancient stories and characters.  We repeat the same days
and hours and experiences but with different explanations.  Yet
what some deem as simple beliefs of long ago, I find to be profound
in thought, and timeless in meaning.  If we know the seasons come
and go because of our revolutions and proximity to the sun, do not
our emotions associated with each season fall closer in step with the
story of Persephone?  The joy of spring (and her return), the
hibernation of winter (and her descent)...

I hope you'll enjoy your stay on my site and that perhaps some of
the musings and video clips you take in will give you some
inspiration to take away with you.
