MEDISAGA SYNOPSIS
THE MEDISAGA is a film trilogy comprised of: Titania, Purgatory, and Neptune. It
re-interprets the fairy tale of The Armless Maiden, through the faery queen Titania, and other
characters from Shakespeare's
Midsummer Nights Dream, as well as Greek mythology. After
Titania's wings are violently torn from her body she must embark on a journey of healing to
become whole again.

TITANIA
Not long after the birth of her child, Titania entered a forbidden corner of a dark forest, and was
viciously attacked by a flock of harpies. During the brutal assault her wings were violently torn from her
body - her distinctiveness as a faery queen robbed.  From that moment, Titania was confined to the
grounds of her estate by an edict of the court. She became trapped inside her delusions, living in fear of
being hunted down and slain by the harpies that attacked her the first time. When her infant son
disappears (believed to be taken by his father, Oberon) she has no choice but to enter the dark forest
again, and face her greatest fear to save her child.

PURGATORY
The second film in the saga finds its characters continuing their journey in an uncompromising
wilderness.  Titania, cast out from the fairy court, roams the countryside, looking for Oberon.  She had
banished him to the outlands of her province mistakenly placing blame on him for the harpies' attack.
But now, as she begins to realize the pawn she's become in an elaborate game between the god of sleep
and the god of dreams - she must find Oberon to help her escape their hold and return home.  It is in this
unforgiving territory that Titania unexpectedly turns to a path of forgiveness and walks deeper into a
threatening Purgatory toward devastating loss and profound grace.

NEPTUNE
Every great Hero of classical literature makes a trip to the Underworld, and our Heroine will do the same
to fight for the life of her true love.  In the final chapter of
The Medisaga Trilogy Titania will bribe the
god of dreams to help her descend to the world of shadows where she will be put to her greatest test -
convincing Death to allow Oberon to return to the land of the living.  What Titania will discover from lost
souls about self-sacrifice completes her journey to become whole again, but at a great price.
